Product Overview
Wire Mesh Demisters, also known as Mist Eliminators or Demister Pads, are highly efficient gas-liquid separation devices designed to remove entrained liquid droplets from vapor or gas streams. Constructed from multiple layers of knitted wire mesh, the demister captures fine mist through impaction, interception, and coalescence. Small droplets collide with the wire filaments, merge into larger droplets, and then drain back under gravity, allowing clean gas to pass through.
Compared with conventional separation methods, wire mesh demisters offer high separation efficiency, low pressure drop, simple installation, and minimal maintenance. They effectively reduce product loss, protect downstream equipment, improve process efficiency, and minimize environmental emissions.
Wire mesh demisters are widely used in distillation columns, scrubbers, evaporators, separators, absorbers, knockout drums, cooling towers, and chemical processing equipment where reliable mist removal is essential.
